It is one of the few ERP software packages on the market that can run with equal strength on many different operating systems and brands of computer hardware. This feature means that a company can easily add SYSPRO's ERP power without major outlays for new hardware and/or operating systems. With operating systems that do not support a client/server environment, such as Novell® NetWare, SYSPRO functions in a mapped server configuration. In this manner, the server acts as a file server, mapping the software to PCs or workstations where the processing is being performed.
