25, 2003 – SYSPRO, worldwide supplier of enterprise
software, has announced that the newest version of its
enterprise/supply chain software, SYSPRO 6.0, now supports the
standard and enterprise editions of Microsoft®
Windows Server 2003. SYSPRO 6.0 is built on Microsoft .NET
architecture and the XML standard. The foundation of SYSPRO
6.0 is SYSPRO e.net solutions, which is designed to provide a
highly cost-effective way for SYSPRO customers to integrate
best-of-breed applications, maximize business-to-business
trading and leverage wireless connectivity.
The recently launched Microsoft Windows Server 2003 is
described as “the most productive infrastructure platform
for powering connected applications, networks and Web services
from the workgroup to the data center” and is said to be
easy to deploy, manage and use. Windows Server 2003 provides a
powerful application platform that will enable SYSPRO 6.0
users to further the rapid building of connected solutions and
deploy an information worker infrastructure for enhanced
communication and collaboration. Additionally, the platform
provides SYSPRO 6.0 users additional levels of security that
are built into the new Microsoft operating environment.
