COSTA MESA, Calif. --
December 17, 2002 -- SYSPRO has announced that its manufacturing
software scored exceptionally well in all key categories in the
just-released 2003 edition of the CTS Manufacturing Software
Survey: User Satisfaction Ratings for Leading PC-Based ERP Systems.
The CTS survey results
were compiled from questionnaires sent to users of the industry-leading
manufacturing software systems. Survey questions were designed to
"find out the general level of satisfaction with the products,
implementation and whether use expectations were met with regard to
various characteristics of the product."
SYSPRO users returned
approximately one-third of all questionnaires received by CTS and were
by far the largest sample in the study. Of these, 85% had been
using SYSPRO manufacturing software for more than a year. 95%
expressed satisfaction with their SYSPRO software systems. More
than 97.5% of the SYSPRO respondents said they were satisfied with the
flexibility of their SYSPRO software, while more than 82% said the
software had been fully implemented in less than six months.
Similarly, nearly 88%
expressed satisfaction with the "time and cost of
implementation," with 95% of the SYSPRO sites reporting
satisfaction with vendor support. More than 87% of the SYSPRO
respondents felt maintenance costs were as expected, while 33% noted
they were less than anticipated, reflecting the SYSPRO approach to be a
cost-effective, long-term solution for businesses. On a weighted
average rating system applied to all responses, SYSPRO earned the
highest overall ranking, especially when also considering systems with
50 employees and above.
The survey respondents
represented a balance of small, medium and large manufacturers in
Make-to-Order, Engineer-to-Order, Job Shop, Process and Mixed-Mode
manufacturing environments. SYSPRO also had the highest number of
respondents in four of the five areas.
SYSPRO company
officials expressed particular gratification at the exceptional
rankings. According to Vice President of US Marketing, Joey
Benadretti, "The high rankings are welcome, but are really no
surprise. Our Customer Service Department continually polls users
to determine their satisfaction and takes steps to remedy any who are in
the least bit unhappy. Similarly, we were not surprised by the
excellent response on software implementation time. The SYSPRO
Stars Implementation Methodology is rapidly setting the industry
standard." Benadretti was elated that the largest number of
respondents was from SYSPRO sites. "SYSPRO users are a
passionate group," he said.
Benadretti went on to
point out that SYSPRO retains a very strong relationship with both
customers and channel partners, resulting in many of the desired
features and functions available in its latest SYSPRO 6.0 software
coming from these groups.
