7, 2003 – SYSPRO has announced that the latest release of its
enterprise software, SYSPRO 6.0, has earned five stars, the highest
possible rating, from The CPA Software News in its annual review of
selected accounting software solutions. SYSPRO 6.0 accounting
functionality is reviewed in the December 2002 edition of the
publication, an industry-leading tabloid that’s published for the CPA
community by Cygnus Business Media. The review, included in the Sky-End
Accounting feature, is entitled “SYSPRO Lets You Publish Financial
Reports in XML.” It was authored by Brent Dirks, CPA, EA, MCSE, based
on his scrutiny of a “live” copy of SYSPRO 6.0 software.
This is the second consecutive 5-Star Rating
given to SYSPRO 6.0 software by the publication. A review in the
November, 2002, issue of The CPA Software News, also awarded five stars
to SYSPRO 6.0 Manufacturing functionality.
In this latest review, Dirk notes,
“Although the SYSPRO product specializes in its manufacturing and
distribution modules, it is a capable heavyweight contender even for
other types of businesses that only need the core functionality offered
by the financial and GL modules.”
After enumerating various SYSPRO 6.0
features, Dirk concludes his review with, “SYSPRO continues to offer a

development. Based on Microsoft® .NET architecture and the XML
standard, SYSPRO e.net solutions forms the foundation of SYSPRO 6.0. It

applications, maximize business-to-business trading and leverage
wireless connectivity. It is also the framework for a new generation of
Web-based applications. These new applications developed using Microsoft

As well as ushering in a new generation of
Web Services, SYSPRO 6.0 offers major new additions such as Business
Analytics, Document Flow Management, integrated CRM and more powerful
Finite Scheduling forming part of an integrated APS.
Business Analytics enables users to create
multi-dimensional views of their financial and operational data as a
series of data mining cubes to produce dynamic, general and enterprise
specific metrics, ratios and analyses. An administrator toolset allows
for the manipulation of the cube(s) to suit customer requirements
without any special On-line Analytical Processing (OLAP) knowledge.
The Document Flow Manager allows a company
to automate business processes and build communication infrastructures
that facilitate seamless collaborative commerce. The Document Flow
Manager automates the flow of business transactions as they
electronically arrive at a company in a XML document format. Inbound and
outbound transactions can be tracked and posted directly and
automatically into and from the ERP system.
SYSPRO CRM closes the gap between the front
office and the back office by integrating all activities without
duplicating input. With SYSPRO CRM sales, marketing and customer support
operations work collaboratively to achieve total customer satisfaction.
SYSPRO CRM offers powerful synchronization features and web tools to

SYSPRO 6.0 APS comprises 4 modules: Finite
Capacity Scheduling, Factory Planning, Progress Tracking and Quality

SYSPRO 6.0 features enhancements in almost
all existing modules. For example, the Quotations Module incorporates
