DesignDesk VIEWLink™ provides the flexibility to organize, view, locate and annotate your CAD drawings. VIEWLink™ does not require an CAD to locate, view (both raster & vector), print, annotate or redline drawings. CAD users are also able to immediately launch viewed drawings within their CAD system or launch the appropriate drawing based on part number from their ERP system.

TITLELink

DesignDesk TitleLink™ provides CAD users with the ability to manage purchased & fabricated part drawings and accurately add and update existing title block information to the Part Master File. TitleLink™ provides automatic, direct builds or updates of the CAD title block drawing information in the Part Master database file.

BOMLink

DesignDesk BOMLink™ provides CAD users the ability to drag and drop parts from the Parts Master browser window directly into an CAD drawing. The CAD user is then able to automatically create a Bill of Materials and cut lists from the information contained in the CAD drawing and the Parts Master Record. The CAD drawing and the Parts Master Record now have a permanent bi-directional link, making the drawing entities ‘intelligent’. The enterprise Bill of Materials now accurately represents the information contained both in the Part Master File and the CAD drawing.

VIEWLink

Enterprise Viewing and Mark-Up

DesignDesk Viewer (works without AutoCAD®) is a stand-alone external viewer, redliner and block viewer that provides powerful and convenient tools to query and retrieve your drawings.  You can locate your drawings by common attribute data such as drawing number, title, project, name or version number.

Powerful Viewing Options

Once you have found your drawing, DesignDesk Viewer gives you a variety of unique tools to pan, view and zoom with speed.  Supports both raster (rlc, tiff) as well as vector (dwg, dxf, etc.).

Redlining

DesignDesk Viewer's redlining facility allows you to mark areas of interest with a variety of shapes and record comments and annotations in multiple colors.  Store the comments and annotations as dxf.

Locator

How often do you waste time recreating drawings simply because you are unable to find the file?  Use Locator, a timely tool to search and find all your drawings rapidly.  The Locator is a simple and fast search engine that finds drawings based on any attribute that you can recall.  

The query key offers you latitude by job number, name of draftsman, title, layer, file name, part number and so on.  Furthermore, retrieving is equally simple with revision numbers or a part.  Choose from the list displayed when searching for a text and launch AutoCAD® or any viewing application directly.
